R.I.P. Peggy McLeod

Peggy passed away suddenly at her home in Calgary, AB on August 5, 2011 at the age of 52 years. Peggy was born in Calgary on July 8, 1959. Her family moved to Edmonton where she was raised. As a young woman she moved back to Calgary and remained here for the rest of her life. We will always remember Peggy for her generous spirit and kind heart. Peggy is survived by her partner Giuseppe (Joe) Quintieri of Calgary, AB and her sisters Gael MacLeod of Calgary and Heather Kanuka of Edmonton. She is also survived by a nephew and two nieces of Edmonton and her aunt and uncle in Liverpool, NS. Peggy was predeceased by her parents Donald MacLeod and Emma Mae Morris. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, today, Friday, August 12, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. Cremation will follow. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Aventa Addiction Treatment for Women, 610 – 25 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2S 0L6.
